A Pearl Beach weekender has recently sold to a Northern Beaches family for $3.25 million.
The five bedroom property at 7 Pearl Pde included a two storey home as well as a large one bedroom self-contained guesthouse and a separate bunkhouse. According to agent Stuart Gan of Central Coast Realty Umina Beach, the popular holiday home had achieved over $5000 a week in rental income during peak periods.
“It is directly across the road from the ocean with incredible views from the house,” Mr Gan said.
“It was not an absolute beachfront though, which can mean the different of over a million dollars in Pearl Beach. I would call this type of property a beachfront reserve.”
According to RP Data, the owner of the property was Sydney businessman John White, who purchased the property in 2008 for . $1.685 million.
“Ten years ago, it was just an old fibro shack. The owners completely rebuilt it, and it’s just beautiful. The buyers are planning to live there as far as I’m aware,” Mr Gan said.
The most expensive properties in Pearl Beach are on Coral Cres and Gem Rd, where homes sit directly on the sand.
This year the Central Coast sales record was set by 5 Gem Rd, which sold for $4.428 million in March, but was then superseded by its neighbour at number 3, which has sold for an undisclosed higher amount.
The suburb record was set by 48 Coral Cres in 2015 for $5.2 million.
