tbilisi-based design studio, XYZ integrated architecture, shares its latest eyewear creation called ‘zip glasses’. as its name suggests, the collection takes the humble zip and turns it into a bold fashion statement. the whimsical spectacles are designed to offer maximum comfort for active lives.

following their previous eyewear designs, such as knitted sunglasses, the team at XYZ integrated architecture wanted to use flexible paracord instead of rigid temples. this way, the glasses can be tied onto the wearer’s head. after trying different materials, XYZ landed on the zip, which the designers felt gave the product a special elegance. the eye-catching pieces are available in a variety of shapes and colors and to find out more, you can check out the georgian studio’s instagram here.
