This house does not disappear into the forest, but it does not fight it either.
Casa Villa Robles, by arquitectura.te, is a compact forest house in Villa Robles, Argentina, defined by three light-colored volumes placed among dark pine trees.
Instead of blending into the landscape, the house creates a quiet contrast. Its pale textured surfaces receive the shadows of branches throughout the day, turning the forest itself into part of the architecture. Wooden openings bring warmth, small patios and precise cuts organize the volumes and the house becomes less about a dramatic gesture… and more about light, shadow, texture, silence, and the atmosphere of the pine forest.
A small house that stays visible, but still lets the trees shape everything around it.
