What if a house was designed not just for how you live today, but for how you might live decades from now?
CN House, in Thailand’s Khao Yai region, was created for a family moving into retirement. The bedrooms and everything essential to everyday life stay on the ground floor, so the house can keep working even if climbing stairs becomes difficult later on.
But the architects did not put everything downstairs. The upper floor becomes the more social side of the home, with spaces for gathering and a main pool overlooking the mountains.
Downstairs, life stays close to the garden, with shaded semi-open spaces and natural airflow. Upstairs, the view opens toward Khao Yai.
It is a house designed around two different moments in life: the way its owners live today, and the way they may want to live years from now.
