zeiss has unveiled its first-ever digital camera, the ZX1 compact, teaming up with adobe to build lightroom CC into the camera. it has a full-frame 37.4-megapixel sensor and a fixed 35mm f/2.0 T* lens, putting it into exclusive company with sony’s RX1 and the leica Q.
zeiss’s ZX1 has 512GB of built-in storage and is minimal in its design. it features dials on the top to control ISO and shutter speed, and a manual aperture ring on the lens. there only appears to be one physical button on the back. the rest of the controls are can be accessed digitally via its 4.3-inch touchscreen.
