A single-story desert retreat built with rammed earth walls, nestled in the rugged landscape of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. Divided into three distinct volumes, the house promotes acoustic isolation while encouraging outdoor circulation and a deep connection with nature. Featuring passive thermal design, a rooftop stargazing deck, and a 30,000-gallon rainwater harvesting system, the residence blends seamlessly with its environment using raw materials and minimal environmental impact.
