Hidden in the lush jungle of Costa Rica, the Wabi-Sabi House embraces imperfection, serenity, and a deep connection to nature. Built from rammed earth and exposed concrete, this architectural retreat dissolves into its tropical surroundings, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. Nearly half of the home consists of open terraces, outdoor stairs, and elevated platforms that merge seamlessly with the forest canopy.
In this video, we explore how natural materials, organic textures, and minimalist design come together to form a space that feels timeless and alive. The house embodies the wabi-sabi philosophy — celebrating simplicity, raw beauty, and the quiet passage of time within the jungle’s embrace.
