This House Lives Between Two Completely Different Worlds

At first, it feels unusual. This house doesn’t open in one direction – It splits between two.

On one side, a quiet courtyard. On the other, a walled garden.

The Cheeran House, in the United Kingdom, was designed around this contrast.

One side is open, bright, and fully connected. The other is more contained, protected, and controlled.

In between, the house organizes itself around a central courtyard.

A simple idea. But it completely defines how the house works.
