KFI Studios Expands Dotti Collection With More Seating Options

Lounge seating is a staple in offices, made for the versatility that is required in collaboration zones. With the large number of separate seat and accessory options on the market, though, items are often cobbled together in a mix-and-match approach that is less than ideal.

Contract furniture manufacturer KFI Studios has expanded the popular Dotti Collection, a complete line of lounge chairs, tables, an ottoman, and pouf that can be paired together to support work or relaxation in a range of settings.

Three modern, rounded lounge chairs—two in green tones with wood panel backs and one in light beige—are arranged on a sunlit, minimalist floor.

The collection, by Pennsylvania-based studio Union Design, features rounded upholstered forms and detailing that convey a sense of ease. A new seat with an upholstered back offers a tailored profile, combined with the soft curves that are Dotti’s signature. “With the new lounge chair, we wanted to give Dotti a more active, collaborative personality,” says Jeff Theesfeld, founder of Union Design. “The original invites you to sink in and relax, while this version feels a bit more structured and engaged.”

Three modern armchairs, each in white, mint green, and orange, with smooth upholstery and wooden accents, are arranged in a minimalist room with soft natural light.

The recently introduced Dotti Lounge Chair with Upholstered Back extends the collection with a more tailored look, perfect for any environment. The low-back chair can be specified with or without a high or low wood surround. These selections provide a casual, open style, or more coverage for added privacy. Back laminates are available in light shades like white and ash, to deeper tones of European ash and dark chestnut. Upholstery fabric is available in a full spectrum of tints, which can be matching or contrasting. An optional swivel base with auto-return gives users flexibility and movement throughout the day.

A pouf is the perfect complement to the lounges. With a leather handle in black or brown hues, this compact piece is easy to move from one room to another. The ottoman can be placed with the chairs or used as a stand-alone for extra comfort. A small 20-inch and large 30-inch table round out the collection, with durable tops available in 26 Wilsonart HPL colors.
