Entrepreneur James Spenceley puts Mosman home on the market
THE chief executive officer and co-founder of MHOR asset management, James Spenceley, has listed his six-bedroom Bay St home for $7.5 million.
The spring listing comes after Mr Spenceley and wife Viktoriia bought a waterfront home in Cremorne, in March, for $12.5 million.
Michael Coombs, of McGrath Mosman, said the Bay St property already had strong interest from buyers.
“In around a week, we’ve had 26 groups through and issued about half-a-dozen contracts,” he said.

Mr Spenceley founded telecommunications business Vocus, which he stepped back from as chief executive officer, in 2016.
The company had a $25 million listing on the Australian stock market in 2010.
With a net worth around $45 million, the Spenceley family have lived at the Mosman property since 2013.
CoreLogic data reveals they paid $4.3 million for the property.
For Mr Coombs there is a lot at stake in this sale — with Mr Spenceley’s “2088” licence plate up for grabs.
“We’ve got a bit of a fun bet that if I sell it for more than $7.5 million then he might throw his 2088 numberplates my way,” Mr Coombs said.
The Bay St property has 270-degree, uninterrupted views across Middle Harbour and Quakers Hat Bay.
The level 986sqm block is also a rare commodity in the area.
“In this part of Mosman you usually get views or a flat block, so to get both is really not that common,” Mr Coombs said.
It also has a private undercover pool cabana with full kitchen facilities and bathroom.
The main bedroom has a private outdoor terrace with Middle Harbour views, while there is a double lock up garage with additional off street parking.
“This property accommodates a perfect lifestyle for families, which has been a big attraction. It is all about the accommodation that it offers, as well as the entertainment areas and the views,” he said.
